You are purchasing the right to open and operate an MKU school with all resources, including excellent support and training. We have invested years in the development of our training protocols. You will have access to all the tools needed to develop and operate a successful program.
All franchisees are required to use our MKU Real Estate team for the location search. With a strong network of experts around the country, we will use specific criteria and software to assist in finding the perfect location. MKU has a well established track record with SBA lenders. Including a designated SBA broker who can assist in all pre qualifications and business plans banks require for loan preapproval.
You may sell your franchise at any time. It is required the buyer continue operate an MKU location, so they must become a franchisee. The new owner is required to pay MKU a transfer fee of $10,000.
It is never possible to know in advance how long a location will take to open. On average the timeline to open is 9-12 months once the Franchise Agreement has been signed and longer if school is being built. At times there may be unforeseen setbacks related to permitting or land use permits that may extend the timelines.
